PANERAI 382 BRONZO L.E.

The story behind this bronze Panerai and how to get it was rather complicated, I'll spare you the details but one thing is for sure, some people did a lot of effort to get it to me !! thanks .... a lot !!

The same watch 5 months later, oxidation has allready left his marks :)

Sunday

PANERAI 390 L.E. BASE

Crazy times, the day I bougth my Rolex Exp.2  I got a mail that a PAM 390 was happy to leave the Panerai boutique in Portofine straigth to my home :)) , so after a few days it landed friday on my adress.
I think Panerai created the ultimate base with this one, limited at 2000 pc, steel case with a brown dial, golden hands, and a nice engraving on the back, all this at a very nice price what more can you want ....

Friday

ROLEX EXPLORER II

I don't have white faced dials in my collection, so this Rolex Explorer 2 fits the bill :) , with it's 42mm diameter a much better size for me than the standard 40mm Subs, all satinated and no shiny links or parts, perfect !!

Sunday

ZENITH STRATOS CHRONO

For some strange reason I always get attracted to black watches ... however after wearing them a few days I'm getting tired of it.  Good reason to get this earlier this year presented ZENITH EL PRIMERO STRATOS 45.5mm Chrono with date and flyback function. No need to present the famous El Primero movement any more I guess but if you are eager to have more info, get a look at the Zenith site: http://www.zenith-watches.ch/en/ .

Wednesday

AUDEMARS PIGUET ROYAL OAK OFFSHORE

How strangely it might sound but this Offshore is also one of my examples of watches that always seems to bounce back in my collection, the first Offshore I ever bought in 2005 was exactly the same as this one, needless to say that I truly love the blue-gray dial of this beauty, covered in the old style case, I believe this piece was made in 1999, and it had a total overhaul 2 years ago. I bought it from a good watchfriend who let it go a bit against his will :)) so I promised to take good care of it till it maybe returns one day !

Monday

PANERAI 414 LE

Today the PAM 414 was flewn in from the Panerai Boutique in Paris, it's a Limited ed. from 100 pc, the dial has the faux patina look and the famous divers submersible.  On the back you'll find the engravement of the Eifel tower, symbol for Paris. A great watch a very reasonable price !! me likey :)

PANERAI PAM 1 B T-SWISS-T

Oh well, you can't blame me taking the step to a this nice PAM 1 B T-SWISS-T with a pre-A dial and a patina to die for :) , the case is probably polished some times but no to hard and the crystal will need a replacement cause there are some scratches that will definately spoil my fun, and while I'm at it I'll probably will have it serviced to, so in a few weeks this baby will be like new and ready for the next decade .....

PANERAI 339 LE Radiomir Composite

pics made by Martin Wilmsen

This Radiomir in composite material was ordered more than a year ago, in typical Panerai style this means you'll have to wait at least a year and ... voilà here it is finally. From the beginning I was a bit afraid that the weight would be to light versus the looks and feels we are used to for Panerai but overall it isn't a problem I must say. The dark chocolat colour is realy special , more than the PVD black ones I have. It's an 8 days inhouse Pam movement but since there is no power reserve indicator you'll have to wind till you here some clicks to know that the watch isfully wounded.

some more info on the composite material, just click beneath
